Main scheme changes in response to feedback
- 158 homes, reduced from 179.
Buiding heights of up to 4 storeys along Coronation Road (reduced from 9 storeys).
- Car parking reduced from 108 spaces to 70 spaces (a 35% reduction) as part of the prioritisation of more sustainable modes of transport, and a corresponding reduction in the size of the basement car park.
- Changes to the layout of the proposed buildings to create a more inviting access that will draw the public into the site and onto the riverside walkway to enjoy views towards Underfall Yard, the Bonded Warehouses, Clifton and Hotwells and the Suspension Bridge.
- Changing the aesthetic of the development to reflect a more ‘domestic’ scale and character, whilst retaining some subtle industrial references, such as the blue and red brick and green elements found on nearby industrial buildings, as well as mono-pitched, saw-toothed roof profiles.
